Title page within woodcut border. Nine integral woodcuts [as required]: frontispiece; p. 24;
facing p. 45, 57, 68, 89, 131, 152 and 185. Only the one on p. 24 is included in the
pagination. The frontispiece is repeated as last plate. Some woodcuts on verso with signature
marks on recto.
Bound in contemporary and probably original smooth polished dark green calf, sides with
single gilt fillet border, spine gilt decorated and titled. Silk ties [these presumably later].

SIZE: 41mm x 35mm

CONDITION: Light soiling to title page and elsewhere but minor and a remarkably clean
tight copy throughout. The binding with a couple of small ?burn abrasions to lower board,
these neatly patched, very slight wear and cracking to upper joint but overall very sound in all
respects.
