Our mission is to supply as many antique items with special association (including with famous people). Established in 2019 by myself Zaniar Robert Wilbraham who since 2001 has worked actively in the family antiquarian book business. I started off at a young age helping my family who were proprietors of an antiquarian bookshop in the seaside town of Hastings in East Sussex. As the book market changed, so did the strategy of our family business and I became actively involved in managing the online auctions first through one of the world's most famous auction houses (Sotheby's), and then after the closure of the Sotheby's Online Auction site, through eBay. I established a high quality reputation through both sites having successfully listed and sold over 1000 antiquarian books under the username fine-bindings on eBay. I enjoy the challenge of finding rare and unusual items and have attended and exhibited at bookfairs every single month for the last 18 years. I have been actively involved in the buying of rare books for all this time and have now decided to launch an exciting new website with many antique items on paper (by no means limited to books) which I hope will fill gaps in libraries and collections. I aim to offer items of extreme rarity including early printings and works of art. I hope these will delight our potential customers. “Paper antiques can help establish sources of history in our society.
