A New Pocket-Dictionary of the English and German Languages, Third Edition Traditionally Improved and newly stereotyped, new impression, Published by Glasgow: David Bryce and Son, 1896

DESCRIPTION: 'XX pp', German and English title pages facing, dated 1896, bound in publisher's red leather, with 'Smallest German & English Dictionary on front cover and Vertically 'Seife Pears' Soap on rear cover.

Original Bryce metal locket case with magnify glass present unknown if this was the one sold with the miniature at time of publication.

Comment: This miniature is thicker than the more common English Dictionary and is a slightly different in style to either the French and English dictionary which doesn't contain the facing title pages

SIZE: 27mm x 20mm

CONDITION: Miniature Book: Upper Board circle mark caused by the magnifying glass pressing on the leather. Minor slanting mishape caused by caused by glue expansion at spine else a very good copy.

Locket Case: Opens and closes fine, tarnish outside and usual rust internally. Overall very presentable externally.
