DESCRIPTION: Large square octavo, pp xiii, [3], 375, [1], engraved frontispiece portrait, 54 wood-engravings in text by Millais, Hunt and others, finely bound in contemporary full green deep grained morocco, the sides gilt pannelled within floral borders and corners. Spine gilt within raised bands, inner gilt dentelles and edges gilt. Inscroption to front endpaper to Georgina Miller, ... June 1857. Finely bound by Hayday. SIZE: 225 x 160mm CONDITION: Minor rubbing and marking onnly but externally bright. The endpapers are foxed due to their poorest quality but internally extremely clean throughout with only only the very slightest of foxing, entirely minor.
