Bound in contemporary tanned calf, all edges gilt, spine gilt decorated within compartments and raised with double black / brown lettering and numbering pieces. Sides with triple gilt fillet borders and central heraldic badge with stag 'LUCEO NON URO' (Earls of Cromartie). The coat of arms still appears on the Dalmore whisky bottle. Binders ticket of Ogle and Son of Glasgow.
